Do other planets in the solar system have a surface or "solid ground" that you can stand on?
I've been reading a lot about our solar system and it got me thinking about many questions. One of those questions is whether other planets in our solar system have a surface or a ground you can stand on. Like Mars for example. If a human being traveled to Mars he will be be able to stand on solid ground. What about Jupiter and the other planets? Do they have solid ground that you can stand on?
If some don't have a surface that you can stand on, why are they still called planets?
As a general rule if you can see the surface of a planet you would be able to stand on it. We only have direct evidence of the moon where humans have actually stood and Mars and Venus where we have sent landers and the landers didn't sink - they stayed on the surface.
